Written Words is an independent publishing cooperative working to fullfill the Great Commission in
obedience to the Lord's directive to His disciples (Matt 28:19-20), and work to accomplish this through the
media of written and spoken communications. The mission involves the development, publication, and
promotion of materials and programs that support and encourage people of all backgrounds and nations
to grow in their knowledge of Jesus Christ and to seek to live a wholesome Christian lifestyle. The
writers whose work is published through Written Words are known as "wordartists".
The WordArtist community is a multi-ethnic ministry welcoming writers who are Black, White, Asian,
Hispanic, Native American and Middle Eastern, whose faith and allegiance is to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Coming from many different ethnic groups and diverse walks of life, we are united by our love for Jesus
the Christ and our confession of faith in Him--and Him only. All that we do, we do for the Gospel.
The Lord has used Written Words' WordArtists to open doors for the placement of His Word within
many diverse populations and sub-cultures through faith-filled publications and productions. WordArtists
are able to outreach to people from all walks of life, people in unique situation such as being in the armed
forces, suffering with illness, being immigrant, people struggling with maintaining their walk. God has
promised to bless His Word and cause it to bear fruit that will honor Him. Our goal is to assist in making

The Age of Media is not "going to occur". It is not in some distant time or world.
The Age of Media is here and now. There currently at least two media devices
being used in every home in America. There are currently 206 countries in the
world, with close to 200 of them utilizing television as their major source of public
communication. Cell phones, cable tv, podcasts, laptops, tablets, digital radio,
Ipods, sound recorders....and much more.
How are we to use this media in response to the Great Commission? We are
confident we know how to do it. The WordArtists who make up "TEAM JESUS"

enhancement workshops, and its' blog Calling Christian Writers. The
blog serves as an incubator for the writing endeavors of "up and coming"

Magazine, a quarterly online publication, to be an enjoyable and effective
way to enhance skills. Many of its articles and features are "how-to's," and
provide time-saving, valuable resources.

Barbara is the founder and Chief WordArtist

Kendra is a cultural custodian and
subject-matter expert, producing high quality
non-denominational bible-based Christian
study materials for youth, young adults and
women. She is the author of several
faith-based books, writing about the

those of writer, storyteller, and Christian

Cheyenne is a true dramatist-- an acting
coach, a playwright and actress. She is a
public school English and Drama teacher;
and has taught for over 14 years, in addition
to acting in local community theater. This
passionate Word Artist creates fun-filled
drama lesson plans and games that
introduce the craft of acting to aspiring young
actors. She does a masterful job of coaching
acting students while encouraging them to
emotionally and intellectually grasp the big
concepts recorded in the sacred annals.

Ray is a "good ole' Southern" style Baptist
preacher man. He is the author of nine
non-fiction books which read just his public
speaking sounds...alive and informational.
His awareness that today's Christian is
basically "Biblically illiterate" prompted him to

studiers in significant ways. He teaches
bible studiers how to get "a word" from the
Holy Scriptures that is the clear, accurate and
